i dont think they will. Maybe 1 "bigger" FA signing, but i think we'll see a lot of bargain and prove-it deals like last year. I think we also see them try and stab drew's replacement again this year, maybe even in the 1st round.

I dont think they are going to go all out and spend, because they dont want to be in this same situation financially in 5 years. We've seen a change in draft strategy, Payton allocating more power to guys like Ireland. They haven't said it, but their actions have, and that is that they have learned from their mistakes. They know they must build through the draft, not just on offense but on defense too.

I dont think they go through the drought of dead money only to come back and spend it wildly in free agency next year

God I hope not. There is 0 reason to draft a QB in the first round at #11 for the Saints this year.

No you need to separate from drew after this year. The Brees years were great but it's over. Face it!!

So we go through a rebuild the past few seasons and just let him walk for nothing.

Makes sense to get rid of a QB while he's still playing at an elite level.
