Yea the OG and WR depth is pretty bad. Not sure if Allen is going to use kikaha more this year, that would be a big factor to decide how much depth we really have at end. DT and LB depth is pretty bad too. We all know ellerbe is only going to play about 10 games so we can use an impact guy their as well.

Just looking at that depth chart, our holes at guard, defensive tackle, & wide receiver are so glaringly obvious. We have to address those positions in the draft.

We can add backups to our high powered offense in the later rounds. Hopefully we will add defensive starters to our lowly ranked defense in the first few rounds.

I'm pretty sure McGlynn and Hightower haven't re-signed yet.

Kelemete is a guard not a tackle. And he will be the starting guard next season.

Yikes. He played well at tackle last season but was horrendous at guard. Hopefully the Saints can get Whitehair in the 2nd.

God I hope not.

I guess that player minimum the Saints offered locked his talent up long term

I don't want the Saints to take a WR in the 1st...but shite that WR looks like balls.

Imagine what Brees could have done if he had a stud WR even once in his time here

Wr is just sad, we're rolling out only 1 guy that was worthy enough of getting drafted.

Maybe I'm just biased, and over-optimistic. but:

-Despite Lauranitis' bad year (reported that he played with an elbow injury), LBs look a lot better than last year. The key is Ellerbe staying healthy.

-WRs aren't a strength, but if you include Fleener in that group it isn't TERRIBLE. We are returning two young, 1,000 yard guys there (yeah, I'm giving Snead an extra 16 yards, deal with it). We could definitely use some additional help there, but I don't think it's a need in the 1st round.

-Richardson at end, opposite of Cam, on rushing downs, and Kikaha in passing situations might turn out to be a solid duo at that spot. I still wouldn't pass up Lawson at 12 if available, but both Richardson and Kikaha really flashed at times as rookies.

-We definitely need to address the interior of both lines in the draft.

Colston? Dude was a stud for 6 or 7 solid seasons.

Anthony is still starting MLB until we hear differently, right?...Have we heard differently from anyone relevant?
