"I think setting the mindset for the type of team we're going to be, having that filter down through the coaching staff and the veteran players, leaders on our football team. And we've got to make sure that we're holding everybody accountable to the standard we need to have, to have the type of success that we want to have."

“It was a team decision,” Winston said, per FOX 8’s Garland Gillen. “I asked the guys, like, ‘Guys, what do you want to do?’ We know how much Jamaal means to this team. And I understood from D.A.’s perspective. D.A. didn’t condone that at all. However, we decided as a team to do it.

Allen should have nutted the frick up and said frick the falcons stop us next time. Instead of throwing his players under the bus. Would have went a long way for player morale next year…
