35.5 vertical, like 2.5 inches higher than combine
then just ran a 4.39 40

Ok...so we know he can cover a bullet but can he cover receivers?

Not sure if he makes it to our second pick. He's been getting a lot of hype lately.

Some people just don't perform well in front of everyone like that.

Was that hand-timed? It is amazing how much quicker players run at their pro day. LSU is one that typically has some of the larger improvements. I don't buy that a guy improves that much in a few weeks.

Unless he was injured at the Combine both of those numbers are suspicious to me.

Vaccaro chimed in, kinda flew under the radar, but he said people aren't aware how much players have to go through before they even run their 40s. Some are just mentally and physically spent, even if they're well rested from the day before. Hard to perform at your peak sometimes.

Come home, in familiar confines, and yeah, easy to see why pro-day times are faster.

Also faster surfaces.

Jalen Mills 4.50

both their times improved significantly, tells me the timing is much faster.

A lot less going on at pro days. With that said, I don't seem to recall any other recent players making a big jump on their times. I do remember plenty running right at their combine time though.

Thank God he won't be performing in front of tens of thousands and even millions when he plays in the NFL..

Denver is going to take Deion Jones at 32 to replace Trevathan. That would give them another athletic, versatile Lb that can rush, cover TEs and RBs.
