Yes, you're right and with Unger back in the fold it will be good to see them in action against Houston's strong DLine. I like the hell out of the Kamara pick, kid is the real thing and showed great burst and ability. I was hoping Lasco would show something too, but he has a ways to go and the OLine wasn't blocking as good as they did for Kamara. Probably had some second teamers in there.

How much shite is Lattimore gonna get in film this week? My goodness he got shook out of his shoes by Gordon

On another note, he didn't get targeted once in the passing game and played tight coverage.

What does Brees playing have to do with our defense?

We are talking about preseason games vs a Rivers less charger team and the browns

For sure. Plenty of bumps coming but a good performance in pre season is still better than a bad one. So far so good.

I mean Gordon is no chump and it was Latts first game.

He did good in coverage,a boring day for a cb is the best day.

That was our 1's on dline vs there 1's on oline.

We dominated that match-up. Excitement and optimism is warranted.

you mean their same number ones last week who the seahawks scored 48 points against?

if the saints had scored 50 then i would say they did an "ok", average job because we should at least be equal to the seahawks talent level but the saints have no excuse not to have put up 50 points on them as well or at minimum, in the high 30's. you can say any given week is different so i'll give you that and thery still have no excuse not to at least have put up half the points seattle did but they go noi where close to 24 points either and could barely muster 3 field goals to get the win.

no doubt it was a "feel good" type of game if you dont consider how bad the other team was. the saints did some good things against weak competition, that is about all you can say about last night.

lots of things "looked good" but when they do it against "real" teams, then i will agree it is time to be optimistic. but until then, we can only hope they can do as well when facing a better team.
