Yeah I saw this...he had treadwell going 20 something and ashawn going 16th. That goes against everything the rant preaches!

Would be a solid pick. Still hoping for a Miles Jack though.

The concern about Treadwell is that he's not a blazer. True, but neither was Jerry Rice. Larry Burton, otoh, had world class speed. Doesn't mean anything if you can't get open and catch the ball. Treadwell may fall as Jeremiah predicts, but I think he's going to be a solid pro.

To me the shocker of his mock is that Jeremiah has QB Carson Wentz going #4 to the Cowboys.

I wouldn't say we're absolutely set at CB, but with a group of Breaux, Lewis, Williams, and Swann, I'd much rather see the front 7 addressed in the first.

Yeah I'd like treadwell.

I dont like our track record picking defensive backs early, vaccaro and Jenkins have been our best and neither have been sensational, solid pros by all means.

I would take jack but I don't want the saints taking someone off a knee injury

Absolutely, assuming Lewis and Swann are ok physically. And Wilson even played decent after a bumpy start.

We need two DL's and and LB more then we need a CB IMO.

Agreed, these two are big question marks. It's a position you can't have too much depth at, so I wouldn't be mad at it, but like you said:

Well, he doesn't appear to play DL or OG.

#1 priority: Saints need more pass rushers and/or heavies on the D-line. The CB position will work itself out with PJ, Swann, Breaux and Lewis.

They say this shite every fricking year about someone then he beast in the pro's, every damn year. How do we keep falling into the trap? A ball player is gonna play regardless, screw that 40 time.

With his size and ability to play the ball in the air, if he runs a 4.45 or faster, he'll go top 5. If not, he'll be in the 11-16 range.

If we didn't take Treadwell on Lawson in that scenario I would kill someone

Same reason Jarvis Landry went in the 2nd round instead of 1st.

Well it was a combo of the bad 40, lack of height and bad vertical. He obviously is just a gamer and can ball with the best of them but I understood teams being worried about picking him in the first round.

one of the more interesting prospects to me this year is Braxton Miller. Can't wait to see what he does at the Senior Bowl.

Gotta love Myles Jack cause he can brings a lot to the table.

I'd probably go ape shite (in a good way) if we picked him
