What if the Saints brought back Jim Haslett as defensive coordinator? In the Haslett years, the Saints actually fielded good defenses that could stop offenses consistently. Haslett is a defensive-minded coach and could really turn the defense around in my opinion. What do y'all think?

Doubt he comes back to coach under his successor and the GM who fired him.

...wut? We had one top 10 defense under Haslett. In 2000 which was obviously his best year.

In his second best year, 2002, we allowed over 20 points in all but 1 game.

Well, he couldn't do any worse than Rob Ryan or Spags, that's for sure

I think you were too young to remember those defenses. They weren't good.

Do people just ignore how bad he was in Washington or St. Louis?

in 06' his rams gave up the 5th most points per game (23.8)
in 07' his rams gave up the 2nd most points per game (27.4)
in 08' his rams gave up the 2nd post points per game (29.1)

Washington

in years 10,11,12 he was basically middle of the pack in points given up good for 11th

then in 2013 and 2014 he went to complete shite again giving up 29 and 27 points per game.

haslett is horrible. every place he has coached the defenses have gotten worse and worse. he either has dirt on alot of people or is the most likeable fricker in the nfl. I cant believe he has hung around this long.

I'd much rather Ron Zook.
