I know he's suspended and has his issues, but I imagine if we were to trade for him, he'd come relatively cheap and with a chip on his shoulder. Anyway, I know it isn't likely but figured I'd throw it out here for discussion.

I don't know how much you could rely on someone like that.

New Orleans is not a good place for a guy like that. If he could act right, he would be a pretty good piece...but, we all know that he can't.

Cancer is bad enough. Asking for it is even worse. And trading for it down right unexplainable.

Remember what TO did to the Eagles? 4 straight NFCCG's without TO then TO imploded...The Eagles imploded and their run with that regime was over.

They too thought they had a lockerroom that could take on a talented burden.

Have you seen our cap hit for next year? Look at those talented burdens that aren't even here.

I'd rather Avery, Jenkins, or Parker.

They don't make that super bowl without TO... but Gordon is worth more to the Browns when he comes.back... they're not putting NFL talent out there

After coming a few plays away from a SB

And Gordon doesn't have that same personality

If I never hear this statement again it will be too soon. If I guy wants to use drugs or get in trouble it's not any harder to do in any other NFL city. You would never hear fans from New York or Chicago say this.

Before he got hurt he led the Eagles to home field advantage when they had shite for WRs before him

Gordon might be worse. TO does what is best for TO which at least includes playing football at a high level if physically possible. Gordon doesn't even do what is in his own best interest. Him and Blackmon can stay out of the NFL.

Not to mention they lost half their offense to injury the following year

And had a contract dispute with westbrook too

quote:

Around the middle of the season, the injuries began to take a devastating toll. Quarterback Donovan McNabb, running back Brian Westbrook, wide receiver Todd Pinkston, offensive tackle Tra Thomas, defensive lineman Jerome McDougle, center Hank Fraley, cornerback Lito Sheppard, and running backCorrell Buckhalter were all at some point lost for the season

They found their way to 3 straight NFCCG without him at all. They then won 2 Playoff games without him that season. They locked up homefield twice out of the 3 years without him too.

Lol truth hurts I guess

owens and gordon are nothing alike except for the fact that they are very good WRs

gordon is a repeat offender of the NFL's substance abuse policy and under contract with CLE through 2017.

Im sure every teams' message board includes a "Could Josh Gordon be a viable option?" thread. Sounds great in theory until you realize how many chances this guy already had and how many times he's fricked up still

Gyno do you know who Gordon's agent is?

I specifically called Gordon a talented burden. Something TO definitely is. They are very alike in that way albeit for different reasons. Both are players no team can just acquire. Both involve meetings and discussions that would never take place if you were trading for another top 10 WR like a Keenan Allen or Antonio Brown.

let's just go ahead and play russian roulette

also, why would this staff take a chance on him when we did everything we could to get rid of what we thought was any back locker room players?
