I thought he was known for this coming out of college. He lacks physicality to get open and its a issue with Brees.

I have noticed this year that Cooks has to stop and wait on the ball most of throws to him. Their timing seems off with he and Brees.

He just doesn't have the attitude required to be his size and be a superstar at WR. Eventually he will start producing on designer plays and etc., but I've seen enough to know he can't make the plays for himself. I'm ready to start passing judgement; maybe I'm wrong but I doubt it. The sample size is only getting bigger and bigger.

With his quickness I don't understand why the Saints don't run more slants, quick ins, and short drag routes.

He could have 6,7,8 yards consistently vs going for the deep home run ball that the defender seems to be able to keep up with him on.

Nope. There's no safety there in the middle of the field. If Cooks breaks in slightly it separates him from the db, makes a much easier throw and he might score. He's not a good route runner and doesn't have the best instincts

Do you guys realize they are sending him on fly routes with a corner playing 7 yards off and safety help over top. He's a fricking slot receiver . If they move him inside he will toast safeties and linebackers . That's dumb arse coaching . They know he's going straight down the field everytime .

I hear ya, he's being used incorrectly for sure....BUT... that does not change the 2 seconds when the ball is in the air and his positioning vs cb's. He is glued on his route and if the ball isn't perfect enough to throw him open, he aint getting it.

Like I said, eventually they will figure out how to design plays for him, but great players don't have things like that said about them, they just don't.

He played in the slot last year! And look what he did . Now we are trying to use him as #1 on the outside and look at his stats. This isn't cooks . It's all payton!
