I haven't seen enough of Peat to know who's better but

Apparently the OP has. He is an OL scout and has done extensive study of the tape for both Collins and Peat. Either that or he is just another annoying LSU fanboy that thinks all LSU players are the best and the rest of the college league are just looking from behind.

Funny how even before this murder thing happened, Collins was all over the board when comparing mocks and rankings. So tell me again how he is better than Peat? Plus Colins was projecting to G, which is far superior in value to T.

if he falls even part of a round, its a big money loss.

That applies to a court of law, not the court of public opinion.

Wouldn't the Saints have a connection with an employee on the BRPD that could clue them in to where this might go for Collins?

What does that have to do with draftstock?

He handled this situation like a complete and total idiot. Yall should be mad at his agent and his lawyer.

Spot on. They acted more guilty than innocent and they are still in a free fall.

Peat is a locker room guy that will work to get better. I think everybody just need to relax. Its going to be will funny when the season starts and this guy beasts up and stops everybody in there tracks. Plus he was the best run blocker in the draft.

Because the court of public opinion is soooooo intelligent. Collins must be guilty because the Sheeple said so. I hope for BRPD sake they had better charge him because he will have one hell of a lawsuit.

And MDS is one of these ignorant posters who think that a player went to LSU they can possibly be a star in the league so the Saints should not draft them.

I'm not commenting on the reliability of public opinion. I'm just pointing out that "innocent until proven guilty" is a rule for the courtroom not the public.

Isn't the big plus on Peat that he has tremendous upside? Both in size and talent?

I'm not sure you can say the same for Collins.

Moot argument either way at this point.

You would hire someone and pay them that much money when there is uncertainty about their involvement in a murder case?

Good thing you don't run a business.

You're not very good at this.

Hey guess what? I was the main person on this board wanting us to draft Collins at 13 for a really long time. So I'm not saying Collins wouldve been a bad pick, I'm saying you cant take the chance not knowing the outcome and for all you know he is involved. But instead of waiting to see the outcome of the ordeal you want to come on here and be a total douche bag. Good call on being a dick!!! That should help your case about the same way as the rioting idiots in Baltimore!!
