I don't know if it makes cap sense to cut him, but god damn it is incredible how useless he has been.

Let him get healthy and evaluate him in camp

We save $750k by cutting him with $3.75m in dead money

No reason to rush it. We can cut hit post June 1st

What an immense waste. Dude has been on vacation since he got to NOLA. Remember the pic of him at the beach in a boot after he had signed? We signed and injury prone guy who is ALWAYS injured, and he had surgery AFTER the signing and ended up missing a bunch of preseason workouts and games. I still don't know what they were thinking on that one.

I've gotta question the medical evaluation. Payton has alluded he has never been right or as quick as the past.

Add Byrd who needed back surgery weeks after signing. Damaged goods just looking for a contract?

We must admit it. CJ Spiller is a bigger whiff than Browner. Sean Payton has a tolerance level for who's out there on offense.

To be fair when Spiller was on the field he never actively made it easier for our opponents to beat us

We couldn't have been more excited about this signing

Did he pull a hamstring running out of bounds?

Sarcasm? I didn't think it made any sense to give him the contract we just gave Ingram. WTF was the point when we had other capable backs already, to waste that type of money with a coach who will not commit to the run?

Spiller was going to fill the PT/Sproles void. Obviously never happened.
