Cell phone reception at last nights game

AT&T & Verizon both added antennas/mini towers in the MB superdome to improve reception, adding to the antennas AT&T already added last arson in preparation for the Final Four.
Last night I saw a couple of guys walking around with tablets and cell phones testing the signal strength too.
I have AT&T and could send/receive texts most of the night, but loading pictures on Facebook didn't work and at one point messages stopped going through.
How was every one else's signal/service?
I also read that the MB superdome is getting wifi for the Super Bowl.

I was able to talk on the phone, text, email, and get twitter updates. Drastic difference from previous years.

Verizon was working fine lastnight. Was able to text, call, and tweet.

Yea I'm def not going to talk to my friends during the 100's of reviews in a damn preseason game. Gotta enjoy those!

I was there for the NC game in January and got better signal in the Dome than I usually have in my house. I was getting texts all night with friends' reactions to plays that just happened.

I have T-Mobile and never had a problem in the past 5 years until Friday. Any other T-Mobile users have this problem?
