Dude can sling the rock and with SP could he be the next Brees type FA?

Talk during todays pregame was about him deciding to move on, was wondering what the board thinks.

if we can afford him, sure. everyone keeps talking about these free agent qbs, but what kinda roster are we gonna have next year? i think signing winston on another one year prove it deal gives us the best shot at winning because we can have better players. winston is still young. not much older than most qbs coming out in the draft.

Why would LV let him walk?

Well it’s last year of contract so it’s usually extend or trade time

It’s the raiders. They’re not known for making good decisions

1. He’s about to finish his 8th season and has won 44% of his starts. One winning season

2. They seem to be infatuated with Mariota, maybe as a bridge to a guy they draft. Carr was not drafted under the new regime

Lotta talk about Russ and Rodgers, but CSP could win a title with a Carr or Cousins kinda guy

I’m a big fan of Carr. I have no idea why the Raiders would let him go. I’d take him as a Saint in a minute. In all honesty, I’d take Carr before Russell Wilson.

We aren’t getting Rodgers. We likely aren’t getting Wilson. I’d like it, but we probably won’t get Carr.

J. Winston will be our QB. I’m good with that.

I like him. I think I'd prefer Winston over him though.

All those guys will be gone. They had plenty of chances to trade carr.

I'd take carr or winston. I think carr might be the better fit for a payton offense.

What guys chewy?

Davis is gonna make a call on Carr before he hires a new coach. It’s either trade or keep

Think? Derek Carr is a Payton wet dream

You said this. You tell me who is they.

It's all moot cause carr isn't leaving the raiders, especially not for mariota.

“They” is the raiders. “All those guys will be gone” I was just wondering if I was missing something

Carr’s deal runs up after next season. They can trade him with no dead cap hit and clear $20 mil off the books for 2022. They are already up against it financially on team that is going nowhere. Davis is either going to throw a huge extension at Carr or trade him if he isn’t the future

And Mariota isn’t even under contract next year, it’s simply a hypothetical. Point is It’s either commit to Carr as a long term raider or find another QB, vet or drafted

I’ve said I wanted him since Brees retired. He’s very accurate and woukd fit Payton’s scheme perfectly. He’s a better version of Bridgewater.

Biggest knock on him is he looks horrible if not protected. We have the oline for that. Hopefully Raiders cut him in the off-season.

No hit to the cap if waived or traded. Saves them 20 million. I could see the Raiders and Broncos getting into a bidding war for Rodgers who probably wants to be back near Cali…..

Carr is a more realistic option than Russell or Rodgers for us….
They gonna want those players traded to the AFC

I just don't see the raiders letting go of carr unless he asks for a trade.

Wilson i feel will ask for a trade.
