Carmichael didn't want the job

Our management insisted he take it for "continuity" sake. We should have just listened to him. What an utter disaster this guy is game after game.
Instead of running the ball on 3rd and 1 to either:
- not convert, but burn another 45 seconds off the clock (time that they needed to win the game)
- force the Bucs to burn timeout
- or simply convert it to win essentially win the game
Carmichael drew up a 50% / 50% slant to Marquez Calloway who hasn't caught a pass in 2 weeks. Lol. Then on 4th down we punt it at their 44yd line for a net 24 yards. Solid work

Carmichael is such a sub.

I actually felt bad first him, because it was a job that he didn't want, Like Coach E

Carmichael should be shot into the sun for deciding it's bad to try to get Kamara the ball in space and Taysom running in short yardage situations is bad but Taysom running into the line on 2nd and 9 is very good.

And who continued to push/convince him to take it? Dennis Allen. Another reason he has to go. PC knew he wasn't capable of the job and gave into pressure.

So the Saints org had to talk the OC into taking the job?
Wow. That is such a "Saints thing" to happen.

Keep in mind, he didn't even interview for the HC coach. Shouldn't have been the OC.

I think he’s actively trying to get fired at this point. You don’t make some of the ridiculous calls or personnel groupings at big times in the game that he did if you value your job.

The first option was Adam Prentice. Alvin Kamara, Jarvis Landry, Chris Olave, or running Taysom for a yard were not considered.

they dont make new game plans, they just pull out game plans from a few years ago and see which ones fit the team they are about to play, then thats what they use.
coaching has zero awareness, zero adjustments, zero effort in tape rooms, zero reflection for DGAF attitudes
