I'm also going to my first Saints game today ( ) and will be cabbing it. Any advice on good places to get dropped and picked up after? Don't want to spend too much time in traffic instead of partying.

Also, what's a good place nearby to get a drink after and wait for cab as crowd thins out? We just moved to New Orleans so not that familiar with the area right around Dome.

Also, whats the best thing to eat inside the Dome? Ive heard rumor of some sort of nachos that are crazy. Bring it on! I plan to blow it out and will take any advice!

TIA

Cheers!

If you're cabbing it. Get dropped off in front the dome. Just go a few hours early and there won't be that much traffic.
this city ain't that big dude. As for getting picked up there's cabs all over Poydras after the game. If you can't find one go to a hotel or Harrah

Yeah. Shouldnt be too hard to get down there in a cab, especially if yall get there early as you should. I would actually rather cab it to Lucy's or one of the other places Breesus listed and start my day there, Get some drinks and some grub then make your way toward the dome. Not a far walk and people will be all over. If you come across tailgates that look cool, just walk up to them and tell them that its your first Saints game and they should welcome you with open arms. Keep moving around to see everything. Hit up Champions square as something is always going on there and see the Gleason statue.

EDIT: yes the nachos are legit. Good stadium food but I would eat before at one of those places (for quality and price). If you come across a tailgate with food tell them that their food smells great and they will most likely offer you some and maybe some drinks.

Have a great time. We are happy to have you. Geaux Saints!!!!

If you go to Happys over Lucys or Vics or Port of Call or basically anywhere you should fall victim to a random shooting.

What?

You want him to walk from the Dome to Port of call to catch a cab after the game?
