The post I was quoting implied that we couldn't sign Collins because of the salary cap. Nothing to do with Jarhi.

Jahri is not going anywhere. He is half of the worst guard combo in the league. Is there any way we can address this before the first game fellas? If we start the season with Jahri and Lelito I'm worried Drew might get killed.

Don't have money for him
Blalock retired in June but I'm sure he could be convinced to play for a year

but getting back to what I originally said. La'el Collins could have been signed to come in and compete at guard and easily replace Lelito imo as I mentioned to tiger 1127. His argument is that he only wants to play tackle which is a bunch of crap. Besides, he'll no doubtly get the opportunity to go back to his position. The immediate problem is guard right now and you can't tell me Collins wouldn't be much better at guard than Lelito.
but I'm seeing somewhat of a pattern here for the Saints organization for whatever reason to pass on LSU players because they also could have brought in Terrence Magee. Instead they chose not to.

For the last time collins wanted out of LA(and I honestly can't blame him after what happened)

Devery started in NOLA for over 7 years and they given guys like Al woods(bust)/randall gay etc a shot.
There was zero room for Magee with Ingram/Spiller/Khiry etc on board.

A lot of you know jack shite! So just share your opinions and shut tha frick up! Some of you on here were also sayin he didn't wanna play guard. Well what in the hell do you think he is playin for Dallas right now?? And playin real nasty to with the block he just destroyed a San Diego LB'er with. lol
also because they drafted Henderson doesn't mean jack shite either! And Randall Gay signed with the Saints and gave them a couple of good seasons before retiring, but he was grabbed by the Patriots who recognized his talent. Not the Saints. He played good ball for them winning a title. But like I said Magee could have been broght in also. No such thing as don't need him they have more than enough or not enough room. lol Man I tell you.
