Brees' is set to retire after the season. At 25-30 mil per season, how soon will the Saints realize that savings? I am sure his recent deals will leave some dead money to count against the cap for some future seasons.

I believe next year he counts 22 million against the cap post retirement. Not sure about the following years.

In 2022 i believe we have 72 million in cap space which is probably subject to change with Lattimore, Ram, and Kamara extensions

Money needs to go to a free agent quarterback.

Incorrect. Brees counts pennies against the 22 cap and we have just under 90 million available.

If he retires after this season, he will count $22.65M against the '21 cap; and nothing in the future.

If he plays in '21 then retires; he will count $36.15M against '21, then $11.5M against '22 cap

Anything after that will require a new contract.

It’s a damn shame he didn’t nut-up and retire when Malcolm X Jenkins and the BLM clowns went after him in June, instead of getting cucked and apologizing.

The other issue is the cap will likely go down next season due to the COVID impact on finances.

I think that would’ve been the ultimate middle finger to these BLM clowns.

They’re not his buddies or teammates. They turned on him. Literally said ‘frick him’. For saying he disagreed with kneeling during our National Anthem. Sad that he didn’t do the same to them. Instead, the bitch apologized for being ‘insensitive’ and became the cuck poster boy of all-time.

Sorry - #1 cuck is the moral voice of the republican party Jerry Falwell Jr. who likes watch his wife and the pool boy.
