Show me another QB in the league who would be a fantasy starter with the receivers we have. No knock on our receiver but we don't really have the talent some of the good qbs are privileged to have.

Brees got me 111 points in my Yahoo league.
46.54 in my boring nfl.com league, but compare that to Brady getting 30.56 for his Thursday night performance vs Miami.

Brees had 60 points in my standard scoring league
I actually started Eli over him though lol, just because I felt the Saints D would give up more passing tds.. whereas I figure New Orleans might more balanced with their Tds via pass and run..

Brees was drafted to be my guy. He has been respectable all season minus Tampa(injury-forgivness). Today he overwhelmed me with fantasy greatness. Very happy to have him. He will start every game minus week 11.

He's not throwing bad this year. It's the fact he rarely puts up multi-TD games now that makes him look worse than he is in fantasy.

If you're a Saints fan and Brees owner I don't understand why you would ever even consider benching him. He's had good, not great, but good and showing progression each week. For those who benched him this week for say a Flacco, Kap, Wilson, Smith good for you for being an idiot. If he was benched for a Dalton, Carr, Manning still a dumb move.
