Idk about you guys but when I’ve been watching Brees the last few weeks I simply haven’t had the confidence that he would do something good.. but last night it seemed like since the drive before half and on that it felt like any time he touched the ball we would go down and score.

Brees was castrated by his teammates over the flag shite. He will never feel like a man out there again.

Is he wrong? Did Drews teammates not completely trash their team captain and HOF QB? All because Drew had an opinion they didnt like.

Yes. Drew was the man out there the past 2 games and just led a 17 point comeback where he was near perfect in the 2nd half.

Not to mention the hypocrisy.

still not buying this absolute dink and dunk offense we’ve put in place, clearly to hide his arm strength. it won’t work against a good team. definitely won’t amount to shite in the playoffs.

We’re throwing downfield with more and more consistency despite missing our top threat and Cook playing injured.

We have more 25+ yard pass plays than the Chiefs, Texans, and Ravens btw

In the first half any time they tried to go downfield everyone was completely smothered by their db’s. The chargers have a good defense. We’re able to open it up some in the second half when the chargers started playing man. Not sure why they changed what they were doing honestly because we couldn’t run the ball.

You dipshits don't understand sports and how the lockerroom culture affects performance. Brees has spent his entire career as the unquestioned leader of his team. In his 19th season, damn near his entire team comes out against him. You dumb asses don't think that is why he looks like he has no confidence and is checked out most of the games?

We just had a 17 point comeback where he played lights out in the clutch. We scored 5 TDs in a row after going down 14-0 last week. He’s playing at an elite level despite not having Thomas and Cook has been banged up too.

No confidence and checked out of games? What the frick are you watching?

I mean this with as little respect as possible: you’re a fricking idiot

No confidence and checked out? Did you see what happened last night?

This isn’t a video game. You don’t come back from down 17, drive down the field late in the 4th then win in OT in the nfl if you are checked out and have no confidence.

Brees showed a little more of the “it” factor towards the end of the game last night. I know it factor is way over used but he looked confident in crunch time. He threaded the needle a few times into some tight spots.

Threaded the needle, another overused phrase, my apologies

Do you think this offense is any different than the one that led to the best record over the last three seasons? The only difference is not having the guy who is 35% of the pass game

Wow, must be a lot of current and former Saints on the board! Seems like a lot of comments about what the rest of their teammates are thinking/saying in the locker rooms...and so much of it about the cuckolding lifestyle and balls, no less
