Drew Brees, the 36-year-old quarterback who attended college at nearby Purdue, finished 28 of 44 for 255 yards with one touchdown in what might have been his final game in Indiana.

Is a meteorite going to hit Indianapolis and wipe out the city? Is Brees going to refuse to play in that state ever again? What the hell? I guess he's assuming Indy will never get to the Super Bowl again so we can whomp that arse.

ESPN doing what it does

They're trying to start the Brees Farewell Tour. I refuse to participate.

It's a fair statement, and as far as ESPN goes, this one is a pretty safe article. I agree with him going to Purdue as the main reason for the article. Fact is if he didn't go there I doubt the article would have even been written, it would have been conjecture with no audience.

We won't play at Indianapolis until 2023, so yeah, I think this was Brees's last game there.

Brees is going back to the future, will play till he's 48 like Blanda. Maybe also kick extra points. Drop-kick 'em.

I can't believe next year will be the first time Brees gets to go back to San Diego after 11 years. Was the London game the reason he hasn't yet returned?

When Brees' agent hires Derek Jeter as a consultant, we will know there's a farewell tour up in this bitch.

I just looked it up. We played the Chargers in the Dome in 2012. That means the '08 game in London should have been in San Diego.

That was a dumb move by the NFL to have the SD game in London. That would have been a great homecoming that fans were robbed of. There is no guarantee Brees would ever get a chance to return.
