Isn't the Saints worst record since Katrina 7-9? Didn't Sean Payton bring a Super Bowl to this perennially awful organization? Haven't we had a top 5 offense every single year over the past decade? I don't see how anyone believes there's a better coach out there that could do more with the personnel we have. Belichik or Harbaugh aren't coming here, we have the best coach available. Now it'd be nice with the improvement of the defense over the second half of the season if they could build on that in the offseason. Special Teams has been a killer this year too. We don't have many go's left at another super bowl to have a change of administration now. Once Brees is gone we're in the dweller of the NFC south for a while with the young stud QBs in our division. Playoffs or bust time to get back to the promised land next year though. Some minor adjustments in the return game and personnel improvements to the defense and they can get back there.
