I imagine San Francisco is in the lead as Norman has a pretty big thing for Cali.

Would you really want to sign Norman to a 5 year deal for top CB money at his age?

Highly doubt Atlanta is in the running. We have 1 great/good corner and 1 good/decent corner. Outside of that though, nothing.

Also, I don't think ATL has the cap space to afford him.

Hoping Bucs do not get him as I want them to draft Hargreaves to push a DE downward.

The 49ers also have the 2nd highest amount of cap remaining. Hooefully he lands in Cleveland so he can play opposite to Joe Haden

people love touting the age thing

he's 28 yes, but he's not a rb...he doesn't take that kind of pounding like a rb does....He's a shut down corner

It can be a big issue depending on the length of contract and amount of guaranteed money. He is a shut down corner now, but will he be at 31 or 32? How many years did he play before being considered a shut down corner?

Well scratch Atlanta off atleast...
quote:

Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff says he won't pursue free agent Josh Norman. The Falcons were linked to Norman by Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, but Dimitroff was pretty decisive that a run won't be happening. "(Norman) is not a direction we're going," Dimitroff said. Robert Alford is hardly a lockdown option opposite Desmond Trufant, but Dimitroff knows he's more than one player away from retaking the NFC South. Yeah let's overpay another defensive back to be a bum like we did with Byrd or browner. Ha no thanks I am happy we have no room to pay this guy.
