I think the cards are out of it for now, after talking to Williams at the combine they seem dead set on him as their guy and they also like corey davis as a backup plan if Williams isn't there.
now if someone else takes them both they might be calling on draft day if we still have cooks for sale, but it doesn't look like they will be interested in cooks unless they know they cant get either of those two in the draft

You are expecting a significant franchise impacting player with a top 5 pick, not a fringe WR 1.....

It's all speculation. All of this " we are going to get their 5 talk" is all just fan conjecture and people like you are talking about it as if it is law.

I never said we were getting a 5 for him, only that it would be nice if there was a way to figure out a way to make that deal while they were talking about giving up #18 for cooks. once a team is negotiating it can get complex and multi layered in what is involved so anything can happen involving numerous options
the only way we get their 5 in my opinion, is if they are in some sort of a bidding war with the eagles and that with the eagles having the #14 pick, the #5 is a bargaining chip the titans have to outbid them but that would involve us giving them something more to offset that value
