I am a Saints fan!

That being said, I like all the LSU players for New England and don't hate them.
I respect the Steelers organization.
I don't hate the Texans.
I'm always hopeful for the Lions because they've been so bad for so long and I don't like the Bears or Vikings.
I hate the Falcons and hope everyone in that organization gets STDs from having sex with Peruvian transvestites who drug the players and rape them.

I have no problem with the Steelers. They were actually my first favorite team. Growing up in the late 70's and they were so good and had a Louisiana boy at QB. But make no mistake I am 100% Who Dat

I enjoy watching other teams, but I don't really feel like I'd have an alternative. If I did, I'd have become a fan of them when I was 13 and being teased for my gold Deuce jersey. I think every Saints fan can identify with this kid now.

gave secondary team a lot of thought back when the possibility of the Saints relocating was on the radar. Decided I'd prolly just give up the vast majority of my NFL fandom all together than become devoted to another team.

Back in the 80's I lived in the far NW where Saints fans were far and few between. With no internet and sparse Saints games broadcast I considered pulling for another team just for convenience. After all I had been devoted for 15-20 years without ever seeing a winning season. It never worked though. I could never remove my interest or even feign support of other teams very well. When I discussed other teams co-workers would always refer to my allegiance to the Saints. It was then I realized it was for life- for better or worse.

In 1986, I was stationed in Mass at Fort Devens. I met my wife and was married on 10 Dec 1988. That night (have never lived down) the Saints were playing the New England Patriots on TV and at this period in life, watching the Saints was a treat to say the least especially up north. My wife still to this day never lets me forget what was more important that night.

When the Saints exit the race for the Lombardi, I quit watching football. I am to pissed to watch other teams play.

Without a doubt. The NFL dies that day to me. I only look at highlights for my fantasy teams.

in football there truly is no other team.

if i was forced to hop on a bandwagon it would not be the steelers. it would probably be some crappy team out west idk.

The nature of the question lends itself to a easy answer. For any Saints fan nothing is " acceptable" 'cept the Saints.

2nd favorite team would not be the #1 team in NFL history. Would be like picking the yankees in baseball.

I think most would tend towards the smaller market ugly ducklings of the NFL. Detroit or Cleveland perhaps.

New England seems to be most similar to the Saints in how they do things and its hard to not like how they go about their buisness. A great org. that I think CSP has studied very well.

If there was no Saints I really don't know.
