It's muted here, but I did see that skip said there shouldn't have been any player suspensions. I am guessing smith said the opposite.

But why are these idiots (Bayless, Smith) so famous?
It's because people watch them wondering what else they'll say.
Then, those people think "Man, that was a crazy/shitty/assholish thing to say. I'm gonna tell everyone about it."
Once they do, everyone else goes to watch...and these guys stay relevant.
They may not know more than the next guy about sports...but they say the controversial stuff that gets ratings.
They survive and become rich because we allow ourselves to be pissed off by what they say.
Let's ignore them.

...and I would cancel it off my cox cable if I could. Already getting rid of the sports package because I have no need for the nfl network, espnu, and espn news anymore. The few times a game is on for lsu or the saints I'll just go to the bar.
