He pretty much nailed it. Since the draft is a crap shoot, shouldn't a team want to roll the dice as many times as possible? I understand trading up when you need to get that one guy to put you over the top, but it's folly to do so when you are riddled with bullet holes. Last year we thought we were so close, so the trade up for Cooks made sense. Since then we have learned otherwise
