Pretty full of shite here.

I guess those two picks are the blame and not the numerous wasted draft selections and free agent misses.

He's not wrong as we didn't have a first or second rounder in 2012...but we've still missed horribly on most other picks

Drafting projects who never pan out is the problem

Well, those two picks would help.

He would've used them to swing and miss on more DBs.

If that is a direct quote frick Mickey. Own your mistakes. How did Dion Lewis or Julian Edelman become Patriots? How did Wes Welker or Randy Moss become Patriots? Ninkovich or Hicks? The draft isnt the only place a GM has to build a team. Trades, FA, and resignings frick you Mickey.

Yes he is. The NFL did not strip our 1st round pick

Loomis is honestly a piece of shite with too much power. Right now he is derailing 2 franchises at once and isn't even on the hot seat. If I had a gun with 1 bullet and was in an elevator with Mickey Loomis and a Meth Dealer. I'd shoot Loomis right in his micropenis.

Dude is really a terrible GM. Luckily Brees and Payton fell into his lap.

Look a lot of his "terrible FA pickups" were also bad luck injuries. Does Loomis not get credit for players like Brees, Vilma, Sharper, Allen, Kevin Williams, Unger and Anthony?

I think the FA thing is an epidemic across the NFL and not just a Mickey Loomis problem. I hope the Saints have learned their lesson on that front. Build through the draft and ith Jeff Ireland heading up scouting I think the Saints were on the right track in the 2015 draft.

Loomis also isnt the defensive coordinator, the scouting department, or the actual players.

He is a money man and a GM. And so far, no one has proven why he sucks at that job.

Salary cap issues are not his fault? He's the money man, right?

Seriously this is the stupidest thing people say on here.

Who have we let go or not been able to pursue because of salary cap?

And show me the teams with massive amounts of salary cap room. list them out. let's see which ones are competing with elite players and making runs for the playoffs.

We arent cutting players left and right because we cant afford them and we even manage to sign some high profile guys. If those guys dont pan out, that's not Loomis's fault, but he got them on the team.

Your right. Roster moves haven't been issue because of the cap.

The Saints’ flurry of moves at the start of the league year — including trading Jimmy Grahamand Ben Grubbs, cuttingCurtis Lofton and Pierre Thomas, and restructuring the contracts of Jairus Byrd,Marques Colston and Junior Galette — were aimed at getting the team’s precarious salary cap situation under control. And yet heading into the second week of the league year, the Saints remain in terrible cap shape

That Gallette contract was a real winner...

Graham wasnt worth the money. I think we and Seattle Proved that. He did not deserve the money he wanted.

Ben Grubbs got old and fat and is on IR. We got a pick for him.

Curtis Lofton had a massive drop in production this year.

PT23 will always be a Saint in my eyes. And it sucks that he had to go. But he isnt exactly lighting up the league right now.

Yes. It was. Who wouldve known the guy would jump off the deep end and start beating women with belts in the face?

And yet we continue to pay our players and sign FA and draft picks.

Again. list for me the teams who have plenty of cap room.
