We really can't afford to cut anyone on the wishful thinking Nnamdi will actually contribute.

Isn't he subject to waivers since it's post trade deadline? Some bad team will put in a claim for him.

Serious question: what would be the cap implications of cutting Ingram?

This cause De la Puente sucks. You would not think this was his contract year.

roto-

Nnamdi Asomugha passed through waivers unclaimed.
The rapid demise of Asomugha has reached the tipping point as he's now on the street, free to be signed by anyone. This comes just 30 months after he was widely considered the top free agent available and the Eagles signed him to a five-year, $60 million contract. Since then, Asomugha has literally been one of the worst corners in the NFL.

if 49ers know anything, its defense. Id trust their judgement. Unless it was an injury/cap-related cut, meaning we could get him healthy and cheaper which = value the 9ers didnt get.

That's amazing. I can't beleive he declined that quickly.

Weren't his best years under Rob Ryan though?

Didn't think about that. Very good point. If we can get him cheap why not?
