You are the one talking about absurd, unrealistic transactions, and you insinuate his thinking of not being based in reality. That's rich.

Paying him more money is not keeping him here when he has to be here regardless unless we don't want him. These rumors are moronic. They are so moronic that I want to think you are just trolling because what you are saying doesn't pass a basic logic test.

He's a trolling alter or he has barely a highschool level of education. Hopefully he gets banned.

It's truly amazing how many roaches there are in the media. Sean isn't leaving.

Or unless Tom Benson croaks. Which unfortunately is a growing possibility with his age. Then again, he wrote the most eloquent response to the Times Picayune last week, at least he (or someone writing for him) still has a few in tact marbles rolling around up there.

if that happens, he has no leverage to make as much money as he would with the Saints over the next 2 years.

SF is not a concern. No one wants to play for York and numerous players and coaches have said so, I doubt they're a threat at all.

Seriously, you think he would get less on the open market? Teams are willing to pay that plus gives up picks...

Payton isn't going anywhere. And the 49ers job is a dumpster fire coaching job.

Was on the road all day yesterday and haven't been able to keep up with this, but I did see a tweet of Brees saying he "couldn't predict the future" when it came to CSP staying here, which struck me as odd after him flatout saying neither one of them were going anywhere. Anyone discuss this at all or did I just interpret all of that wrong?

I think him and Payton and the entire FO all the way to Benson are just tired of the media circus bullshite the last couple months. Everyone from the times piq to ESPN has been up Bensons arse and Payton's arse.

I took it as a sort of just shut up response. I can't see Payton gong anywhere before Brees retires.
