Amen slaughlin. I was born the same year as the Saints. Starting watching and being aware in '75 and went to my first game in '76. I thought the '06 season might be it but this just feels different. In '06 we had holes & weaknesses and we knew it. This team is more complete. I just feel we are a little bit better than a very good Vikings team and we are at home. No snow, no freezing temps. I don't see how we lose.

I was one of those kids who never watched any sports growing up. It wasn't until I was 12 when I saw a freshman Herschel Walker win a championship in the Sugar Bowl in '80 that I wanted to find out more about sports, specifically here locally.
Started following the Saints in 1981 when Bum and George Rogers came in. Instantly became a fanatic quoting stats and other nerdy things. I was hoping George would be our Herschel. (Started following LSU at that time, too, hoping Dalton Hilliard or Garry James would be our Herschel.)
Still, this Saints moment is a culmination of 28 years of waiting .
