PHILADELPHIA -- The 2017 NFL Draft included 95 underclassmen and another eight who entered the draft having earned a degree but still with NCAA playing eligibility. But not all of them received a draft call over the last three days. NFL clubs selected 67 underclassmen, leaving 28 (30 percent) hoping to receive an undrafted free-agent contract, while two of the eight who earned a degree were left unselected. Last year, 30 of 96 underclassmen were not chosen (31 percent).

Among the top players who will be looking for a free-agent deal will be Baylor WR KD Cannon, who averaged over 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns per season in three years in the Bears' high-profile offense. Cannon (5-foot-11, 182 pounds) ran a 4.41 40-yard dash and the NFL Scouting Combine. Other notable undrafted underclassmen include Virginia Tech QB Jerod Evans, Texas A&M WR Speedy Noil and Oklahoma DL Charles Walker.

A look at the complete list, alphabetically:

Someone needs to update this to add the ones drafted in the 6th and 7th.

They all leave convinced they'll go in the top 3 rounds. Sleezey agents.

Baylor offense helped his numbers but he probably has no clue running routes.

yeah, i can't say i feel sorry for Noil... the way he handled his recruitment, turning his back on many people that were looking out for him and shite, really rubbed people the wrong way....

i just hope he doesn't come back to LA expecting any favors... better keep driving to TX

Hopefully it would but with the idea Of just making the practice squad as a UDFA or late round pick a kid will make $6500 per week. Being drafted and signing they make triple that. When players and their families think about that amount of money most of the logical thinking goes out the window.

There are probably a decent amount of guys on that list who were going to be academically ineligible next year or were told by coaches not to come back for off the field reasons.

Still none worse than Trev Faulk's early enterty.

Almost all of them are. Trev was a 2nd team all-american as a junior. Speedy was a 2nd team WR at A&M.

You are right I guess I just meant more of a disaster. I remember the rumors were that scouts were laughing at his 40 and shuttle times.

Marijuana is classified as a cannabanoid, not an amphetamine.

"Weedy" is more like it...
