This being my 1000 post, the first official day of training camp, and my son's 1st birthday, who just started walking today....

What will be the predictions of you, Saints Talk constituents, on how the season will unfold. I.E.: Brees' stats, Bush and Pierre's stats, who will have the SECOND best stats as a receiver, record, and so on.

My take: (Pretty optimistic, huh?)

Brees: 4716 yds, 38 TDs, 16 INTs
Pierre: 1008 Rush yds, 290 Rec yds, 11 total tds
Bush: 610 Rush yds, 540 Rec yds, 11 total tds
Colston: (Best Year) 1320 Rec, 13 tds
Meachem: (2nd Best Rec) 940 Rec, 6 tds

Porter and Greer: 13 INTs combined
Smith and Brown: 19 Sacks combined

Record: 11-5 NFC South Champs, Lose NFC Championship in Green Bay.

I just think it is way too hard to repeat. I know...

What say you?

that's a solid take.I think lower yards for Meacheam and lower TDs for Brees. Lower Int's, sacks looks good.

- Brees throws for a billion yards.

- Reggie scores a TD by leaping from the 20 yard line into the endzone....his OWN 20 yard line.

- Saints beat a team composed completely of Ditka's to be crowned "Universe Champions".

Book it.

No shame in losing the NFC Championship game, folks.

Of course, I hope I am wrong and we win it all again, but...

Not to slight your pick, but the Ravens lost yet another CB, to add to Reed possibly being put on the season PUP list, and Kindle's near death experience.

I just can't see them making a Super Bowl, unless Flacco is the real deal, and they score 30 a game.

I would love to beat the Packers though, that way we can say we own the NFC. frick Dallas.

When I first saw the Browns, I was

But then, I saw your real answer. Once again, I think it is really hard to repeat, and this team had a ton of breaks last year along the way. Too many to even start to name.

I know, good teams make their own luck, but you can't deny, that last year, this team has "something" riding along it's shoulders.
