Next week looks pretty glaring as our annual WTF loss. Maybe it'll be the Rams like it is every other year.

Completely different team. Completely different outcome. The 49ers are awful and our offense is rolling. Obviously we could lose, but we haven't had an annual wtf loss since 2013 because we haven't been good enough. This team isn't going 7-9. I guarantee 8-8 at worse. Our offense was pretty much stagnant last year. They'd score on the first drive of the game, then put up TD's in garbage time. This offense was moving it all day against one of the Legion of whom. It is an absolute fact that BOTH our offense AND defense have improved significantly. So no reason to expect the same kind of deals.

And to the rams guy. They've had our number in that they've beaten us once or twice and played us close in other games. Pretty sure most or all of those games were in St. Louis as well. Nothing is going to come easy but I'm confident this team will make a run at 9-7/10-6, they've got the fight in them that we simply didn't have the last two years.

even you have hope amigo??

I'm starting to think maybe something is there. The commitment to the run on offense has to hold though IMO.

not many better ways to help out a defense who is still trying to find its way. They are getting better but you know there will be a massive speed bumps ahead (On defense)

Russ Wilson hasn't thrown a TD in 3 weeks and has generally been terrible this year, now we have a competitive defense all of a sudden bc we stopped him

Spunky has been the word. Spunky.

The offense has been the competitive advantage all season that gives hope.

The Defense has just been trending in the right direction and has positive parts returning from injury that should improve their overall performance.

It is not soley a RW thing. Saints checked Derek Carr within reason, etc. We have slowed some pretty good teams.

Every game so far except for Atlanta has gone down to the wire. We seem to have a 50% chance of winning each week. I don't see us going 7-2 down the stretch.Too inconsistent.

Don't see any real D improvement on the horizon, but a true 1-2 RB punch in Hightower and Ingram allows for a heavier overall carry total (and better TOP numbers) that keep the D off the field.

This defense most likely won't win us any games you're right. But this offense could win us any game

Turnovers and ball possession. These are the two keys to the defense being serviceable. If we can average 1.5 turnovers a game and over 35 minutes TOP, both doable, then we can finish 10-6. Still think our likely finish is 8-8 barring a Ryan or Julio injury. But if we get a couple of bounces anything is possible
