4 days to a week!!? For frick sake what can it hurt to try it? It’s obviously not nearly as severe as Zion’s last hamstring strain on the other leg so who knows? If it shaves a week off his recovery that can be the difference in a playoff series.

What could it hurt?! His group should call Zion's camp and offer to do the procedure for free
If it works, would be worth millions for both of them

He's from Tulane, this board is full of occasional drive by posters that claim to know a guy on the medical staff. You guys need to get this info to them.

IT WON'T WORK. BUT IT'S WORTH DREAMING.
If things seem too good to be true, they ALWAYS are !!
No passive treatment will heal your tissue faster AND make it resilient to the activity without actually progressing it slowly. Is what it is. He's OUT unless we make a deep run

I’m sure they already know about this, it’s their job after all. I think with Zion and the stress he puts on his legs when he explodes to the rim sometimes stuff just gets tweaked and rest and rehab is all you can do. I would still try it, you have nothing to lose, but Griff is always going to go safe with Zion. I would like to know what grade of a strain it is. If it’s a grade 1 then 2 weeks is logical. He wasn’t limping yesterday when it should be at its worst for him so that’s a good sign. Game 5 would be May 1st which would be 2 weeks and 1 day since he got hurt.
