Guy does not want to be in this market.
He secured a max deal.
Once the Pelicans have seen enough, he knows that they will trade him.
He gets a trade to say the Knicks.
Then watch, he will all of a sudden get in shape and get his weight in order.

It might be his plan but his work ethic won’t work regardless of what market he’s in. He’ll always be lazy and out of shape that’ll never change

Doesn’t work that way. People think they can compartmentalize bad habits. But they can’t. Especially when the bad habit is being a fatty.

Excellent point. He's never done it. He's never been in peak condition as an adult, had to train for it. He's so blessed it's always been natural. It's not easy. It's a lifestyle he has never attempted.

I hope we send him to OKC. They actually have enough pics to take the gamble.

I think we get the better half of the deal by trading him now, or in this next off season. We have a solid team already.

Dude what are you talking about? He was in peak condition at Duke. He was a MVP candidate last year. To say hes NEVER done it absolutely wrong. Why we get frustrated is that we have seen him do it and he actively chooses not to.

Now Scoot hasn’t looked good so far… but I had a few buddies that really wanted us to send Scoot + Sharpe/Simons + picks for Zion before the draft. If we’re throwing a Hail Mary at getting Dame a title, that’s one way to guarantee we’re gonna be a bottom team for a decade or even longer once Dame saw the writing on the wall re: Zion’s commitment to the game.

Why would you do that if you’re OKC???!! Their team already looks better than ours with Zion. There is no reason for them to take the gamble.
