Honestly when you factor in Simmons about to be on a rookie deal compared to AD making 25-30 mill this question isn't as ridiculous as it seems. Theoretically, on paper we'd be able to have Simmons plus 2 max player. But no I wouldn't trade AD for Simmons bc I think it would be difficult to attract 2 other quality max pieces to new Orleans. Plus, I think AD is the 2nd best player in the league.

If you could tell me AD was gonna be here the literal millisecond after free agency starts in his life, id take that trade. But since AD is just counting the years down until he can gtfo into a major market, I don't know.
