Chuck and Kenny say no. EJ and Shaq say yes. Will the Pels record keep him from the team?

It's a semi-meaningless game, not an MVP award. He's having a "down" year and is 6th in PER.
And I'm pretty sure that whether he starts or not is what matters contract wise, so hopefully he makes it as a backup.

He doesn't deserve it.

He certainly won't start. Those 3 forward spots will probably be Durant/Green/Gasol.
Then he's in the second tier of forwards who make it along with DeAndre Jordan and maybe Dwight Howard but I doubt Howard makes it.

The frontcourt is absurdly stacked

he was 9th in front court voting
I would be surprised if he makes it, but if he does it will be based on last year and reputation

Kawhi?

Maybe it'll show him he better step his shite up, or he is cool with just getting paid and not really worried about being an all star. We will find out.

He's got 30 million on the line this season. He needs to step up big time.

shite son, you put 300, (that's three with two zeroes behind it) on the line for me. You have my attention.

Him not being a starter is good news for us (Rose rule)

Not really.
There's only 6 spots.
Kawhi, Lebron, Durant, Green are locked in to 4 of them. Then you got guys like Paul George and Melo. Then you got guys who are having pretty good years, but are on much much better teams like Pau, Dirk, Blake (if he can come back and tear it up), Bosh, etc.
Not saying he won't make it, but I can definitely see the people who vote on this giving that 3rd team spot to a guy with slightly worse stats, but on a much better team.

Yeah will be tough to beat out Paul George. He's a great comeback story and it appears like he will make the plyoffs. Also, if the Knicks make the playoffs Melo will probably get a nod as well. The media loves voting for the big market players. Blake Griffin is damn good and also plays for a good team in a big market. There are injury concerns, but if he comes back soon, he will probably play a similar amount of games to AD. AD has missed 6 games, plus half or more of another 5-6 games. Blake has missed 12.

Yea. AD isn't out of it yet, but if he misses more than 1 or 2 more games it will be very difficult for him. Plenty of forwards out there that have had great years so far, and haven't missed a significant amount of time, and are on playoff teams.

did you actually look at the voting or just saw where he's at.

3 Kawhi Leonard (SA) 782,339
4 Zaza Pachulia (Dal) 768,112
5 Draymond Green (GS) 726,616
6 Blake Griffin (LAC) 651,860
7 Enes Kanter (OKC) 534,499
8 Tim Duncan (SA) 431,087
9 Anthony Davis (NO) 400,688
10 DeMarcus Cousins (Sac) 364,270
11 DeAndre Jordan (LAC) 269,427
12 LaMarcus Aldridge (SA) 268,003
13 Dwight Howard (Hou) 219,761
14 Dirk Nowitzki (Dal) 173,317
15 Harrison Barnes (GS) 155,289
they need to stop with the fan voting.
Zaza Pachulia and Enes Canter shoudln't even be on the ballot much less have more votes than AD.
Good thing they took Yao Ming off the ballot b/c he'd be a starter this year if he were on it.

so...he was ninth, just like I said
just because you don't agree with the voting doesn't mean he wasn't ninth
