Why was Diallo assigned to the D-league again?

It seems to me that he would benefit more from practicing, training, and traveling with his actual teammates and coaches than playing in the middle of nowhere

He's raw. He needs to play. Gentry won't play him.

So DLeague.

There are no minutes to go around with Cunningham and Hill leading us to .500 ball. DMo only got 8 minutes today when AD only played 23, Diallo definitely wouldn't get any minutes.

But with no back to backs this month, I would think that allows for more practice time than usual

He'd be there for film sessions, practices, I wouldn't think the coaches wouldn't put some time into working with him while he's here

I just don't get why he'd benefit more from being away from the team surrounded by guys that will never make it in the NBA
