Because the tank is for dumbass message board posters and does not promote success in the NBA.

Because no teams in the NBA have tanked and none are tanking right now.

The tank was never on. AD is that good and other teams had a big head start on tanking.

I guess the team can't really lose on purpose. I'm kind of torn on it, cause they have seemed to figure a few things out lately and it'll be interesting to see if they can keep it going..

I think you were confusing tanking with just not being very good

Philly message boards might beg to differ

Because we'd rather give Philly the finger and the #13 pick overall than make a futile attempt to get into the top 5.

There are only about 19 games left and it is highly doubtful we get solidly below the block of teams at 22-41 considering we're at 26-37.

Philly is rebuilding and happen to be awful in the process. They just finished tearing their roster down to the foundation, of course they are terrible. It serves a much larger purpose than tanking.

They tore down their roster in order to tank this year. They traded away the few good players they had on the roster and reports are that Noel is able to play but they holding him out in order to tank. Their roster now consists of MCW and a bunch of D-leaguers. Philly is showing the entire NBA how to tank properly. Two to three years from this might pay off big for them.

And they will rebuild by tanking for this year's draft. They are ensuring that they receive one of the two three picks in this years draft which is very valuable and will supply them with a franchise type player.

So they are letting their rookie sit and not deverlop because they are tanking? You really think Noel will help them win any games this year if he is able to play?

1. To make sure Davis wants to stay after his rookie contract is up.(showing improvement every year)
2. The team is too good to be tanking
3. Why would benson, demps and monty be cool with tanking, monty is coaching for his job, benson wants a winner and demps spent a ton to get/keep players on the team such as holiday, gordon, evans and anderson.
Bottom line, there is no reason for this team to tank, end of discussion

They damn sure won't be competing for a title anytime soon with the status quo.

Okay, sure, they let one draft dictate an entire roster overhaul.
