Until we get a competent SF, we are going to have this conversation day in and day out. It took a scrub like Babbitt to make people realize how bad Aminu really is. We've neglected the position for so long now and it continues to bite us in the ***. I can't blame people cringing at the thought of Aminu and Evans in the game together. It's as ugly as it gets. At least with Evans, he has elite offensive skills that mask his liability a litte bit.

He doesn't, though. He has one elite skill and a bunch of sub-par ones. When Aminu's jumper compares favorably to you, you are doing something horribly wrong.

Aminu is a better shooter, actually.

OK

...If Evans took 3 wide-open set jumpers a game, his % would be a lot higher too.

He's still find a way to incorporate a fade away in his set shot.

Nah. Most of those big money teams will shore up their bench, sign their top 5 draft picks and pick up a guy for $6-8 mill. Nobody wants EG or tyreke, even if they have to wait a year.

How many times am I going to hear EG is on the block?

He's not luol deng, you can probably hear his knees crunch when he walks.

Aminu shoots 0.6 3s per game
Evans shoots 1.1

Nice try, though. Shot charts, son. Look at them. Open your mind.

...right now because he's struggling terribly...he has shot much better in prior seasons...he still scores and gets to the free throw line at a high rate.

Aminu has improved and is still terrible at shooting along with no other offensive ability.

...game tied with 5 seconds left, someone gotta take a jumper...Aminu or Evans?

Dude, give it up. Are you trying to say that Evans is closely guarded on the 3s he takes? He isn't.

Evans Shot Chart

Aminu Shot Chart

Aminu is 7% better in the paint
Aminu is 11.5% better between the paint and the arc
Aminu is 15.6% better from behind the arc

Trading Gordon leaves us with Tyreke at the 2
That's not a bad thing if you have Jrue and a shooter at the 3 spot.

Agree with this.

So you're his evil(er?) twin bent on galactic domination?

My the family reunions you must have

And my condolences to any tables broken during those proceedings. Poor things could've lived a happy life as a tree and not smashed by a mad clown.
