If there's any chance at all Cal can bring in a player like Cousins he probably is your best bet to keep AD even if he can't coach. Talent overcomes mediocre coaching in this league. Plus if you had Cal and Cousins here not only would you have a 2nd star for AD, him leaving wouldn't be him leaving just a job and coworkers but a mentor and friends.
The real question is can Cal pull in Boogie. If not you go with someone like JVG and hope they can build something good enough in a short period of time.

My first all is probably Cal in a desperate attempt to keep AD. He would be HC and Pres but I would require that he hire a well respected GM to go along with him and a well tenured Xs and Os Lead Assistant. Otherwise the calls are his.
After that love that Schlenk (who is my real #1) Messina combo. Messina is a risk though.

I don't think he could get any UK guy just because he's Cal, but Boogie has had what, at least 5 coaches? I think there's a chance he'd see Cal and AD as greener grass.

Cal would demand to be Pres of Basketball Ops as well. He would want a GM that he knows. Don't know if he and Ferry have any connection.
