I really really hope Willie stays with Jonas and lets him try to use his size to attack Davis on offense. He will give up points on D but i don’t think Larry or JRE or Zion can defend him. He’s just a little too big. We have been playing a lot of rotations that has Dyson at the 5! Just not sure that’s going to work against this team. Let Jonas put some pressure on him with the ball down low.

I know common logic would be to put Herb on LeBron but I actually think it’s more important we limit Austin Reaves. We can still beat this team with KeBron and AD getting theirs but the X factor to this game to me is Austin Reaves. If he gets going we are in trouble. I want Herb or Dyson on him and neutralize him.

LeBron I’m challenging Zion to step up and go head to head superstar to superstar. That leaves CJ on Russell and BI on Hachimura. Of course all this will change with Dyson, Jose, Larry and Naji all coming off the bench but to start the game that’s what I would like to see.

I'm putting Dyson on Reaves. Make his life hell on earth. I'd go Herb on AD and double him in the post. Leave Z on an island with LeBron and dare him to take over the whole game. Lakers are at their best when the role players are efficient, and that ain't happening with Dyson Jose and Herb and Freak Zion

Yes Dyson or Herb must be on Reaves at all times. I don’t think Herb is big enough to take AD but it’s possible with a double team maybe with BI but you leave a good 3 point shooter open in Hachimura but I would take my chances. I’d go early and often to Jonas and best case he can draw a couple early fouls on AD. Then you’d have to bring Larry in to run with Jaxon Hayes. I think guarding their best player will make Zion play better.

Larry has played good defense on Davis in the past. Although he’s still out with his personal issue.

I don’t know about defense but I’m using JV to abuse AD in the low post. Just keep going after him. If JV gets fouled out in the first quarter due to offensive fouls, so be it. If they put AD or LeBoo on Z, I’m driving at them and make the refs swallow their whistle.

Putting AD in foul trouble would completely change how they play.

Yes, Davis is far too quick for JV to defend. We've seen that movie before.

I'm sure that JV will start, but the only way we have a chance in this game is if we play small most of the time. That means BI and Dyson guarding Davis.

True but Jonas can also put pressure on Davis by making him play defense. Nance is never looking to score really but Jonas can post him up and possibly draw some fouls on him.
