Given the Saints' deconstruction and demise due to salary cap constraints, is anyone else at all concerned about Loomis' effect on our payroll? He's looking less and less like a cap wiz these days.

I think there are less games to be played with NBA salaries.

The NBA should troll the NFL and have players shoot free throws from the 3pt line for one preseason game.

I don't think Loomis is even close to being the source of the Saints' problems other than the buck stops with him. They've missed far too often on talent evaluation. If the Pelicans find themselves in a similar position one day it won't be because of Loomis' roster input, it will be on Demps or whoever replaces him.

It's called keep your expectations low so you don't get heart broken. It is the sports equivalent of hitting on the hot girl's fat/ugly friend in the bar. Yeah it backfires sometimes and you have to bang a fatty, which is when you thank God for making Jim Beam, but more often than not it impresses the hot girl and you bang an OT8, PT 19.2.
