Crews is so edgy. He's a man a generation ahead of his message board times. He's a star, constantly thousand of light years ahead of us and we're lucky to catch a glimpse.

Honestly there is no difference from Crewz and Kevin Owens. So from now on, I'll read every Crewz post while playing the Kevin Owens theme song.

I do not see a dominant defensive player in that group. Maybe 3-4 seasons ago, but not now.

Rondo- former great PG defender, pretty average now
Holiday- solid PG defender having to guard larger SGs now
Allen- 6'3 SG having to defend SFs?
Davis- overrated defender
Cousins- its all about effort and he misses a ton of assignments

I just don't see how that group would scare anybody..

There must be only like 2 dominant defensive players in the whole NBA in your opinion I'm guessing.

Not at all. They are taking an above average PG defender in Holiday and moving him to guard SGs, where his advantages (size and strength) will be somewhat negated. They are replacing him with Rondo, who has slipped in recent years and is not the defender he once was. Then that unit is counting on an undersized Allen to guard wings. That is 3 positions where they are taking a step back defensively. Davis is what he is, although I think he is skating on his reputation somewhat. Cousins has never been considered a great defender, so not sure what I'm missing there..

Are these 5 dominant defensive players in your opinion?

You're right. Hill is the only player we had that was a lock down defender, and he was really kind of borderline lock down. But they don't need a top 5 defense this year, just slightly above average defense to go with a slightly above average offense and they'll make the playoffs. I think they are completely capable of delivering that if they're healthy and bought in.

One HUGE problem this team had as it went away from Asik, who was producing decent on off numbers, was small ball couldn't rebound. Post trade they played a bit less small ball and the noticeable rebounding droughts where the team just couldn't end possessions despite great defense went away. Cousins gives them what Asik was giving them on defense, clogging the paint and rebounding, plus his offense is good enough to stay on the floor most of the game.
