Veteran Leadership Needed

And I'm not talking about guys like Jrue and Bledsoe. I'm talking about guys like Lou Williams, Patrick Beverly, etc. Some scrappers who will show these guys how to demand respect and play consistent D.
Willie Green IS the coach. Valanciunas IS our other big man we needed. Graham IS the point guard we need.
Need vets off the bench that can play D and facilitate.
Gotta get the tub of lard off the couch too.

I mean I can see it but he's just a quiet Willie-type character. Watching the game tonight was not fun. 2nd half everyone (except herb and valanciunas) were loafing.

Yeah, I think Griff was aware of what this team lacked, but he struck out on landing the type of veteran leader PG we needed.

Pat Bev makes a positive impact on every team he plays on my man. Just bc someone like KD who is a foot taller than him doesn’t respect him as an elite defender doesn’t mean Bev is a fraud. He just can’t guard a guy that no one can guard lol. Especially with a foot height disadvantage.

Team needs some dirty players. Guys that go above and beyond. Fans love those type of players. Hart is close. But all the opponents like him, just a really nice guy. Need some guys with more of an edge..

most of the team has a lot to learn. only a few vets are solid.
they are so far from just needing an enforcer to compete for championship id say that the acquisition of a viscious player is wasting a bench seat vs a guy who can nail deep threes with 2 seconds on the clock.

We talked a lot about even though we sucked, we liked the team because they played really hard, hustled, etc.
Welp, now that's gone as they've given up recently, especially against Minny. So we're back to square one here it seems.
