I was beginning to think I was the only Pels fan who wanted Burke.

same here! I think we take him if available...period. There are better picks for the Pels then him, but they all will be taken when it comes to #6. Trey Burke is one of the few players in the draft that WILL give us an immediate impact. He will give this team another much needed dimension to our game.

I am not really that high on Burke and would much rather Larkin. He is more raw than Burke, but has a much higher ceiling IMO (LINK ). Plus we have Vasquez for at least another year. That'd give Larkin a year to adjust to the pro game.

It seems all the prospects I like (Larkin, Franklin, Plumlee, Karasev) are projected in the 10-25 range. That's why I'd love the team to trade back (Utah or Okc), take the Dallas trade (Marion and #13), trade Gordon (for Granger and #23) or a mixture of any of those three...

Don't get me wrong, Shane Larkin was my favorite player this college basketball season. His height is what concerns me.

The most impressive player to me this year's playoffs was Nate Robinson, who is super short by NBA standards. I'll take upper level, high motor athletes over taller, lesser players. Height is way overrated, especially when it comes to PGs. Unless they happen to have an awesome post game or can take advantage of it some other way. I just don't see it as a big advantage (no pun intended).

Thanks for making me see the point about his height. Like I said I freakin love Shane Larkin.I wouldn't mind drafting him if we trade back.I also like KCP...

Is this some revelation? Im sure everyone would.

No one gives a hoot about Burke's height. Everyone has a deficiency and it is always harped on before the draft.

I'm not sure which part you are laughing at. The guy is 5'9, so that's pretty short. He was awesome in the first two rounds. I haven't been more impressed by anyone else these playoffs.

I was responding to the other guy that said he thought Larkin was too short. If that's his biggest negative, I don't think that is too big of a deal..

He was awesome for a 5'9" midget. Dude was jacking up and missing shots left and right

Ehh agree to disagree.. I'm not going to forget that game against the Knicks and he was great in a couple of games against the Heat. He just played way over his head. I like it when players do the unexpected and rise to the occasion..

Shane Larkin was pretty good for the U during that win streak. I could see him being a solid pick for a team in the 2nd round.

Nice. I lived in Miami for a few years growing up. Were you at the og location or the one inside Marlins Park? The Marlins Park locale is where I got the idea for the Pelicans Perch Pool

My man. You can never "out story" the goat story teller.

Last week he and AD rode their bikes to Karl Malone's house.

It's all good HB. Keep em coming.
