To everyone declaring the draft a win or a loss...

L-O-F*CKING L. The NBA draft as a whole is a crapshoot. Yes, there are years where you get a Lebron, Carmelo, Bosh and D-Wade, but there's a reason that was a special draft. This draft could turn out to be that and we end up looking like the Pistons with Darko, but the point of this post is that nobody here knows. Nobody knows what any of these kids will be and to come on here and declare Griffin a cuck or a genius at this point is incredibly premature. I'm a long time lurker and sometimes participant who enjoys the influx of traffic, but most of you are only showing your ignorance/newness to following this with your NFL draft attitudes or just that you want to derail any good with discussion with B.S. logic. I don't love Griffin, but I do feel that he's set us up with a ton of options. No one here knows precisely what Zion will be and what he needs next to him. Lastly, I wont say that Hayes will develop a shot, but the handful here that act as if it is totally implausible are either trolls or new fools. Half of the stretch 4s or 5s you'd like the Pels to sign in free agency didn't have a shot when they came into the league and Blake Griffin's was considered broke. If the Red Ryder can fix that, with hard work, Hayes should have no problem. I do not know anything about his character but I'm also positive that most of you complaining about him don't either. Rant over.

I won’t jusge #4 until we see what happens with the cap space. 13 mill is a significant number and is one of the larger parts of the trade. Teams dump late firsts to get out from contracts like Hill’s, despite people acting like he was an asset for some crazy reason.

I just think it’s bullshite that we have this great run and someone throws a wet blanket over it. It’s been pretty shitty being a Pels fan the last 6 months, and all of a sudden we have a blindingly bright future.
It’s okay to think we destroyed the draft. It’s okay to be super excited about our team. Lawd knows it’s been pretty rough outside of the 4-0 start at the beginning of the season.

I honestly just read the post for the first time (when you start off with L O frickingL I’m probably not gonna read), and I don’t get a wet blanket vibe. I get a “I don’t really follow basketball at all, but I’m excited at the possibilities” vibe. Let’s embrace the bandwagon baby. If we have a Pels Talk gathering, I want it to be people missing out on getting to go cause so many people want to/there aren’t enough spots. Let’s get the Blender bumpin.
Going to be plenty more posts like this. No real reason for those of us who’ve been through the shite for years and the Demps era to feel more entitled than others. It’s natural to want to feel that way and be proud, like loving a band before they got big. It doesn’t serve a purpose for people to be dicks though to those people. We’re all on the same team.

We will need like 10 tix to get people in. You get more suite passes than game tix. Last time a few folks just ponied up and took the passes sin entry ticket and I bought some cheap seats to make up the dearth.
