The clips lost Paul and Redick so how much will that hurt them?

I believe nearly every team could make the playoffs in the East or at least contend for a spot.

ETA: Lol at the Warriors as the 2 seed

No question plus a lot of teams making the jump. Clippers could contend for 7 or 8 spot

Okay but nobody has them above a 5 seed yet. They have some talent man.

Twolves lineup:
Pg: Teague
SG: Butler
SF: Wiggins
PF: Gibson
C: Towns

Bench: Dieng, T.Jones

5 Seed isn't out the question

The Rockets helped them out tremendously giving them Beverly, Williams and Dekker. I think all 3 of them will play big minutes and add depth. Signing Gallinari was a major coup, plus Teodosic is supposed to be really good. On top of all that, they have some good youth (Evans, Wiltjer, Thornwell and Jonhson). I don't think they tumble too far..

IMO it is waaaaay to early.
Some teams are finished.
Some do not. NOP. DEN. SAS. PTB. Even HOU.

If Pels will have even average players in place of Omer, Ajinca and QPon I will be excited now.

Since people will rush to downvote, I'll explain.

This Pelicans team will either be insanely good, or bomb like crazy. No middle ground. The spacing issues, lack of shooters, wrong players for Gentry /Finch system. Or Rondo unlocking MVP Davis, winning high IQ mentality, boogie and AD gel, add another shooter via trade like Middleton, and Holiday excels at sg.

I'm really really low on the Rockets. I think CP3 and Harden will really clash and dislike each other. Their games will be a nightmare, and if Melo is added in the Dantoni system, this team will REALLY bomb bad.

Spurs are consistent excellence, they will handle Aldrige soon and Kawhi will get better.

Nuggets will take a massive Jump, Clippers will struggle to stay healthy, and the Wolves will struggle with scoring and depth.

Once people think about the west, it's not as strong as people think it will be.

FWIW Clips waived Wiljter yesterday.
Two others will play in the GLeague.

That team does not scare me at all. Teague is gonna be a bad fit for them. No 3 point scoring, and the pieces don't mix.

I will never downvote anyone that has Pelicans as a #3 Seed

I agree that Paul and Harden will hate each other. Paul grates on his teammates nerves like Kobe and he won't like Harden quitting when things get tough.

Carmelo is one of the most overrated NBA players of all time. Stat whore who never won a damn thing because he's a one-dimensional ball hog.

I don't see what's so good about Portland either. Nice scoring backcourt but that's about it.

Clippers will be scrappy but not great - kind of like a Memphis type team.

Pelicans, who freaking knows.

Cousins, so far in his career, is a lot like the aforementioned Carmelo. Hopefully on a better team he evolves into a winner.

Not even if PG and RW get hurt and we're healthy? Dumbass. As for my prediction:
1. Warriors
2. Spurs
3. Rockets
4. Thunder
5. Nuggets
6. Clippers
7. T'wolves
8. Pelicans

I actually think the Jazz could sneak in too. It'll be interesting how to see how some teams gel. I think the clippers will still have a decent year despite losing cp3 and could say Houston struggling if they get melo. Spurs are a safe bet to be in the top 3. I don't think the t'wolves will do better than the sixth seed. Those last 3 spots or so are gonna be an absolute dogfight and I think it'll come down to coaching so we may be fricked

The Blazers have the best backcourt in the league and they are about to add Carmello. I think they get in and make some noise..

Whoops.. 2nd best. Forgot the Warriors

Three ball dominant players who suck on D. Recipe for disaster.
