That was probably the best all-around game I've ever seen Zion play and...

this win was no "fluke". Willie just went all-in with his "small" and "smaller" lineup and Suns did NOT have an answer for it.

We threw a VERY irritating & effective style of defense at the Suns and I kept wondering if they were gonna break down & pull Nurkic. Great job by Willie late in game of rotating offense & defense lineups (mainly Trey and Dyson).

As badly as we have been playing lately...the fact we could have enough offense, even without BI...to beat these Suns, is VERY encouraging. IF...and it's a big IF...Willie has the guts to stick with his small ball lineup...the playoffs could be quite interesting.

I said the exact same thing to my son and friends over watching the game. Most complete game by Zion at the biggest time of need. And during the post game interview with Jen, he looks the slimmest I can remember since he got here.

Interesting thing is...it should be VERY easy for Zion to adjust his offensive game to looking for the kickout pass to the corner. We have several players that can hit that corner 3 when spotting up. Zion's inside game should be made MUCH easier when he figures out how much this will benefit him. Gimme about 8 assists per game from Zion...and I bet his shooting % will take a nice leap, along with those 8 assists.

I called that out in the game thread, it was wild how he looked during that interview.
