Steve Kerr to miss season opener vs Pels

He had back (?) surgery in the offseason and isn't recovering as quickly as expected I think.

Thanks - pretty sure I saw him on the bench against the Lakers and didn't notice anything. Granted, I didn't watch much of it. Didn't know if he had pulled a Sarkesian or something.

He had surgery earlier this offseason and it was reported at the time that he'd likely not be ready by opening week.
